Week of Universal Design October 7th - 14th 2016

Universal Design, Design for All or Inclusive Design are all synonyms for a design strategy that aims for designing an environment, product or service in which users should not adapt but are supported in their actions and experiences in a positive and elegant way.

Flemish Minister of Equal Opportunities, Liesbeth Homans and INTER organise from October 7th until October 14th the week of Universal Design. The main goal is to underline the importance of Universal Design and therefore many activities are organised in Flanders. The oneliner of this year is: "smart design for everyone".

In Hasselt several partners working in the domain of Universal Design together with the city of Hasselt engaged themselves to initiate several activities during the week of UD.

Everyone is welcome and entrance is free but registration for some event is required.
